Devotional THOUGHTS 

There is a reason behind the trials that we go through; and though we may not always understand the reason, we know that hope in God will be sufficient for us while we are in the cloud.

God the Father spoke from heaven, but even so some failed to hear.

Before we were born the Lord had a little section of time and space marked out just for us.

The Lord walks with us through life providing for each eventuality that happens to us. God’s providence and our reason work like two figure skaters dancing together.

The lessons in the Old Testament help us move into what God has for us in the New Testament, we move into our promised land.

So we move on into the good land that God has given to us, for it is indeed a good land. Joshua and Caleb certified it so, “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good” (Num 14:7).

Water comes to us from the heavens, and the earth produces vines from which men collect the grapes crush them and store the juice. But it started as water from heaven, similar to Christ who came from heaven, he shed his precious blood on the earth.

When we become adults, we take slights and hurtful comments much more seriously than when we were children. Some people can hold onto a grudge for years.

As some people grow older they lose the wonder of life. In reality, life is wondrous and dazzling, but somehow the enemy manages to darken the eyes of some adults so they fail to see the awesome wonder of life and creation.

Humans, who are made in God’s image, can partake of the life of God if they choose to do so.

Paul explains how we got into this position and says, "Although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened" (Rom 1:21).

People on earth sometimes think they have wisdom and power.
