Devotional THOUGHTS  #The Fall

The Apostle Paul is being open with us and bearing his soul. “For in my inner being I delight in God’s law” (Rom 7:22). We see that Paul understood the “Natural Law” that we all have, but he did not have the ability to carry out the law of his mind which told him to do what is righteous.

Jesus was not swayed by men, even by these offering him insincere praise.

We read about the garden of Eden and perceive a simple lifestyle for Adam. Yet, he fell and lost the peace found in the garden. The Bible teaches us how we can regain that peace.

Sin is, a missing of the mark. The Greek word for "sin" is hamartia, It essentially means to miss the intended target. And that’s our fallen state, having inherited a fallen nature from our forefathers.
